Laser Crystal were delighted to create bespoke awards for Seawork – Commercial Marine Event Awards
& Workboat industry event ‘Seawork’, held in Southampton
Earlier this month, the 2018 European Commercial Marine Awards winners were announced at a packed ceremony on the first evening of Seawork. We created a selection of bespoke crystal awards for the Marine Event Awards ceremony, designed to the organiser’s exact requirements and to reflect the prestige of the event.
The Award Winners
Our design team love a challenge
With a nautical theme, they got to work on coming up with some inspirational designs for their 2018 European Commercial Marine Awards ceremony.
The winners were announced at a packed ceremony on the first evening of Seawork and were presented with the awards we created especially for them. Not only did we create these awards, we were able to showcase our work at the exhibition and I’m pleased to say we caused a bit of a stir.
School of Fish
The statement piece created for the show was our stunning school of fish crystal. We thought this was pretty apt for a nautically themed event – and it certainly caught everyone’s attention. We delight in showing people what is possible in crystal.
What is Seawork?
Now in its 21st year, Seawork Celebrates the outstanding individuals and innovative companies that comprise the vibrant and productive Commercial Marine sector.
The Crystal
Each crystal featured a bespoke design tailored to the award category, created in intricate detail by our design studio.
This was laser engraved into the crystal, followed by a full-colour print onto the surface – to feature company and association logos.

Here are the details of the award winners for 2018:
