Keep weather in mind
Britain is very up and down when it comes to weather, and spring and summer are no exception – they are subject to fluctuating conditions. If it is a very hot day, it can wilt the coolest of people. Rain and thunderstorms can arrive without a moments notice too, so you should have a contingency plan for outdoor events. Perhaps install a huge canopy that could shield guests from both extreme sun or rain. A nearby building could become the venue if the weather becomes too intense.
Look into unique locations
If you have a tight budget, the perfect location could be just outside your door. Car parks are often overlooked – this space can keep people close to the office while offering a change of scene and a huge outside space. Perhaps some other outdoor activities that a large group can experience: public gardens, the zoo or even wine tasting can be a real treat for your employees. Have a local football team? Plan entertainment
Give your staff an extra perk to their party by arranging some corporate entertainment. Your employees have to enjoy themselves and surprising them with some entertainment is a really special gesture. Have a swing band with singers that they can also dance too, a corporate comedian to perform on a stage or even a magician who walks from table to table wowing your guests. Whatever entertainment you decide on – make it a real treat.
Invent a theme
