We were approached by the world leading Subsea Expo to explore some design concepts for their glamorous awards dinner. The client wanted stylish, innovative and design lead awards that reflected their leading industry event. It was vital for these prestigious trophy awards to became the focus of the annual exhibition and conference.
The brief from the client was to deliver high-quality crystal awards reflecting the look and feel of the event and its branding guidelines. It was all about creating show-stopping awards that would become the coveted trophy that everyone aspires to win!
The Event
Subsea Expo is the world’s largest exhibition and conference event dedicated to the Subsea industry. This annual event brings together the leading figures and businesses in the underwater sector. The prestigious black-tie evening awards ceremony is a key focus of the event. As the occasion brings together a broad range of leading experts in the field to discuss everything from new technologies to the challenges facing the industry. As the industry’s key event, it gives colleagues and peers an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and reward standout individuals for exceptional achievements.
The 3-day exhibition and conference event takes place in Aberdeen. With over 185 exhibitors and over 6,500 visitors, the event showcases the incredible capabilities, innovations and cutting edge technologies of the underwater industry.
The Award Solution
Our in-house creative team put together some concept ideas based on the events theme, logos and colours. The client moved forward with the idea of creating their logo of an underwater figure as 3D model as the focal point of the award.
The crystal awards featured the amazing precision and detailing of superior 3D laser engraving. Each glass piece was individually engraved to create the event logo in superb sculptural detailing. The awards were also personalised with winner details. Every award reflected the amazing achievements of the winning companies.
The Results
